Bad Job Interviews

Let’s face it.  We have all been there.  We practice, we plan, show up on time, but somehow the unexpected happens and the job interview goes bad.  Way bad.  All that searching on dice and monster, the career seminars, career coaching, and finally getting the interview:  BAM! DONE! Over and out! Up in smoke!

Maybe, you are the hiring manager or HR person and you have prescreened the candidate, the resume is impeccable, the candidate shows up and it is a disaster.

We all remember these times in our life.  Hopefully, you can now look back and laugh at them.  That’s what this site is all about, sharing those humiliating times in our life with others for a good laugh.  If you feel so compelled, please leave a post of your interview gone bad.  Here are the simple rules:

  1. No profanity.  Please keep it clean

  2. No need to leave name or companies involved – unless you so desire but do so at your own risk.  Simply leave a nickname, town, generic company name (large automobile manufacturer in a large city by a lake named after a state)  You get the point, right?

  3. Remember, this is just for fun.  No need to get rude, condescending, etc

Hopefully we can all get a good laugh, get some career advice and learn what NOT to do on the next job interview.
